Our cobot is compatible with nearly every brand and type of welding power source, giving you the flexibility to create your ideal setup. Our ONE software also integrates seamlessly with premium brands like Fronius and Kemppi. The result? A smooth integration into your production process.
Our WeCobot welding solution can be used for a variety of welding techniques, including MIG/MAG, TIG and CMT. This makes the cobot a versatile solution for many of your welding challenges. Whether you’re working with steel, aluminum, or stainless steel, our cobot is your ideal ‘Tool for Welders’.
Our welding experts would be happy to point you towards the most suitable technique for your product.
CMT is a welding process by Fronius that changes the game for anyone working with thin sheet metal, aluminium, or applications where post-processing simply takes up too much time. The principle is clever. the welding wire doesn't just move forward, it's also actively retracted the moment a short circuit occurs. This happens at a frequency of up to 170 times per second. The result? A stable arc, minimal heat input, and virtually no spatter.
CMT is a versatile process that suits a wide range of applications, including joint welding on stainless steel, overlap welding, aluminium welding including sheet thicknesses down to 0.3 mm, galvanised sheet metal, root welding, and brazed joints.
We find that the CMT process is a strong alternative to TIG welding with a cobot. With CMT, the wire feed is fully integrated into the Fronius CMT torch. With TIG cobot welding, an external cold wire feeder often needs to be added, which complicates both the programming and the freedom of movement of the cobot.
No more hours of post-processing. The spatter-free material transfer means workpieces can move straight to the next step.
This makes it a strong alternative to TIG welding. Less distortion, less rejection. Especially with thin sheet metal or aluminium, that makes a world of difference.

For optimal stability and precision, we recommend using a table system. In this setup, the parts to be welded are brought to the cobot, making it ideal for series work and smaller products.
Ideal for small to medium-sized products
Use the table as a welding jig
Repeat weld function
Excellent starting point for welding automation
Good ergonomics for the welder
With this system, the cobot is brought to the product to be welded, making it well-suited for large and heavy workpieces. With magnetic bases, the cobot can be placed flexibly, quickly, and easily wherever needed.
Flexible and easy to use
Suitable for large workpieces
Often combined with a magnetic base
Can be used at various workstations
