Track your weld seam in real time
Say goodbye to bad welds caused by fit-up tolerances. With the Seam Tracking function, your cobot will automatically follow the weld seam in real time, without external sensors. Seam tracking works seamlessly with the Weave Weld function: a small weaving motion allows the welding torch to detect the precise seam location while welding, and adjust the path on the fly. The result? Perfectly placed welds, every time.
Benefits of Seam Tracking:

Easy to set up Activating the Seam Tracking Function is simple. Just enable the option in the weld section of our ONE software, and your cobot and welding torch will handle the rest. |

Repeatable precision Once activated, the Seam Tracking function ensures the weld is always placed exactly where it needs to be. |

Handles fit-up tolerances with ease The biggest advantage of seam tracking? It automatically compensates for deviations and tolerances, even on long welds where material shrinkage comes into play. With real-time adjustments, issues like pulling or warping no longer stand in the way of welding automation. |
How does the Seam Tracking Function work?
- Define the weld
Program your cobot in under a minute using our Single-Button Teach function. - Activate Seam Tracking
Enable “Seam Tracking” in the weld section of the ONE software. - Activate Weaving
Turn on the Weave Weld function in the weld section (see “Weave Weld feature” for more information). The system then uses a default weave pattern in the background, which you can override by selecting your own custom pattern.
*Seam Tracking is currently supported by a limited number of welding sources. Contact us for more information on compatibility.
