Federatie Metaalplaat visits Wecobot
Last week, we welcomed members of the Federatie Metaalplaat to WeCobot in Zwolle for an inspiring afternoon focused on the possibilities of cobot welding. An afternoon full of insights, practical examples, and of course: hands-on experience with the cobot.
The event began with a short presentation about our welding solution, in which we explained the benefits of working with a cobot — from increasing productivity to delivering consistent weld quality, all with the same number of employees. The WeCobot welding solution is a true Tool for Welders.
Guest speaker: Bart van der Zande from Zantech
A valuable addition to the program was the practical story of Bart van der Zande, owner of Zantech. He shared his journey toward cobot welding, including the considerations he made, the adjustments needed in his production process, and why he now successfully uses multiple cobots in his company. His story offered an honest and inspiring view of what cobots can mean in practice for metalworking companies.

After the presentation, it was time for action! In our demo space, visitors experienced firsthand how easy it is to program a cobot. They also received a live demo of the key features of our ONE software, such as weaving and multilayer welding.
