How does the ONE ring work?
- Using the ONE ring
The cobot is equipped with a ONE ring featuring two buttons: one black and one blue. Hold the black button to activate FreeDrive mode, allowing you to manually guide the cobot to the desired position with ease. - Blue button functions
- Press shortly: Save the current position in the selected mode.
- Press and hold for 2 seconds: Switch between “air” and “weld” mode.
- Press and hold for 5 seconds: Switch between linear and circular mode.
- ONE ring light indicators
- Air mode: Light blue
- Weld mode: Dark blue
- Circular weld mode: Circling light around the ONE ring
- Spot weld function
When the Spot Weld function is selected on the cobot screen, the ONE ring turns orange, and the blue button acts as a trigger to activate the welding torch. Your cobot will then tack weld exactly where the torch is positioned.
