Complete a full stitch weld by programming just two points

A stitch weld is a weld that’s regularly interrupted. When it’s not necessary (or desirable) to weld the entire length, you can alternate short welds with unwelded sections. With the Stitch Weld function in our ONE software, you can program an entire stitch weld just like a standard weld, with a single start and end point. The ONE software automatically divides the weld into stitch segments, letting you choose exactly which sections to weld and which to skip.

Benefits of the Stitch Weld Function:

Blue arrow Time-saving and efficient
Save programming time by letting your cobot automatically divide the weld into stitch segments, while you decide the length of each weld.
Blue arrow Consistent quality
Get identical welds, every time. The Stitch Weld function ensures consistent spacing between welds, resulting in a clean, professional finish.
Blue arrow User-friendly operation

Thanks to the intuitive ONE software interface, any welder can quickly and easily set up a stitch weld.

How does the Stitch Weld Function work?

  1. Define the program
Set up the weld as usual using the single-button teach function.
  2. Activate and configure the Stitch Weld function
Enable the “Stitch Weld” option in the weld section of our ONE software, and select which segments should be welded and which shouldn’t.
  3. Run and optimize
Click ‘start’, and the cobot will automatically divide the weld into segments, delivering consistent quality and precision throughout.
